"The impossible is merely the possible for which we don't know the science yet."
- Rick Riordan, Daughter of the Deep
Re-making 'ugly art' into something wonderful and new, can be a painful (and long) adventure - artists all around the world can attest to this. As my teenage daughter likes to say, "the struggle is real." ✨
But is frustration at something not turning out the way you want it really a struggle? Or is it just the learning process we'd like to be easier?
Don't you think it'd be nice to easily learn something? To have a path where everything comes without struggle? I bet everyone reading this will say, "Hell yeah!"
However, in the end, isn't getting through the struggle and coming out the other side where we really learn? Isn't that when we shine, when we're proud of ourselves for making it, surviving it, and growing better from the knowledge the struggle gave us?
This line from Rick Riordan's book (yes, I'm a mythology geek), struck home with me, as I feel it speaks to the creators of the world. Nothing's impossible, after all, I'm Possible... right? ✨
